***NOTICE TO ALL SEPTEMBER PRE-REGISTRANTS***
We’re seeing a lot of new teams popping up in our team manager over the past couple weeks, but only a few have paid the $50 pre-registration through PayPal. Please note that your team will only be eligible for the discount if you have paid the $50 BEFORE the discount’s cut-off date. In order to do this, you must be signed in to the team manager first and then click the register button. Above the PayPal button for the race, you will see the full registration amount that you will owe after pre-registration closes, but rest assured that your account will only be charged for $50 at this time (you will see $50 as the amount being paid on the next page). Help us make this a race to remember — pre-register today!

***Special Message from Nelson Ledges***
This is Scott Lane – General Manager of Nelson Ledges Road Course.
In 1980 Grassroots 24 hour endurance racing started here at the Nelson Ledges Road Course, in great part to my recently deceased father, John McGill, and MANY others.
Since this type of racing has been such a major part of my life I look forward to working with USEDCAR and YOU – the grassroots racer to create successful events in 2010 and beyond. I realize that USEDCAR has gotten off to a slower start that they or myself anticipated, but I know they have worked hard up to this point and I have full faith in their ability to successfully manage these events. They have a tremendous amount of support from the entire Nelson family, friends and officials.
We look forward to seeing you at Nelson Ledges – the Friendliest Place to Race!

Supplementary Regulations
The Supplementary Regulations (www.usedcarracing.com/_04.23.10.php, click Races, then click the John McGill Memorial Longest Day Act I) are currently being updated and should be up in their updated form by late Wednesday, 3/10/10. We will have the amended parts highlighted in red to show any differences between the new supps and the ones from the old site, just in case you’re already familiar with them.
Team Confirmation
We will be confirming teams via email through the Team Captain as we receive them. Registration is open now through the site, and payment can be made securely through paypal once we confirm your team. Keep an eye on this blog for any immediate updates up to the race.
